Doctor Bobby – The Stick

April 17th, 2007

Having just had my second baby, my home and diaper bags are filled with numerous brands of skin soothing products. I’m always needing the one thing I can’t find, and keeping up with different products for different situations can be impossible. That has all changed for good, now that I have found The Stick.

My entire family uses The Stick, and we absolutely love it. My 3 month old has eczema on his face, and The Stick has been perfect to help soothe his chapped skin without making it messy and greasy. My three year old has a horrible habit of peeling the skin off of his lips when they start getting dry. I wasn’t able to find anything to help keep the lips moisturized and soft so that they could heal until I started using The Stick. I have been using The Stick on my lips, and I am amazed at how long the product actually stays on. It doesn’t wear off like normal lip balms, and I am able to eat and drink without it coming off! My husband has horribly dry cuticles, and we have started using it to help soothe and heal that area as well. There is nothing that I wouldn’t try The Stick on, because everything we’ve used it for so far has worked wonders for us!

Thai Tiny Circles Necklace

April 10th, 2007

I am IN LOVE with this necklace. It arrived in a pretty box with a bow, complete with a nice little bag to keep it safe and an anti-tarnish cloth.

The first thing I noticed was the great quality of the necklace itself. Often times when buying charms, the necklaces they come with are very thin and fragile. This is a beautiful, durable necklace you’ll be proud to wear. You can even choose the length you would like.

The charms are cute little silver circles with the names stamped into them. This would be a great gift for any mother or grandmother out there, and will certainly be a keepsake they will treasure.

The website offers many options so you can customize this just the way you would like. You can add spacer beads, choose to have birth dates added to the back of the charm, add birthstone charms, etc.

You will have a necklace that is truly unique and sure to be noticed.

Price: Necklace with one charm $42;
Each additional charm $15;
Birth date on back $5 per charm

Website: http://HeartonYourWrist.com

Age range: Adults

Pros: Durable, high quality materials, highly customizable, a great gift, very unique.

Cons: None. If ordering another one, I may choose to go with a longer necklace, but that is personal preference.

Ease of Use: Very easy. Comes with a bag you can store it in along with an anti-tarnish cloth to use for later as it’s exposed to air.

Packaging: Beautiful. You will feel like you are receiving a gift even if you order it for yourself!

Durability: Much higher than others of its kind. The necklace is not thin and fragile like some are.

Would you recommend to friends? Absolutely. Any mother or grandmother out there would love to own one of these. Great Mother’s Day gift!

Tummy Honey Cream

April 5th, 2007

I have been using the Tummy Honey for about 4 weeks now and have noticed a big difference in my old stretch marks and have also noticed that new ones are not appearing yet. I am now 25 weeks pregnant but my stomach is very large. It is stretching more and more every day but after faithfully using the Tummy Honey, I am not noticing any new stretch marks developing. I am also very pleased with the way it stops my skin from itching so badly, which I had a problem with early on and for my first pregnancy. I love this product and do plan on ordering more until the end of my pregnancy and to fade any new stretch marks that do pop up. The scent is also very pleasant — not overwhelming at all, it has a very light fragrance which I find delightful.

Price:$24.95

Website: http://www.mothersintuition.com

Age range: Anywhere from teenagers getting breast stretch marks or growth stretch marks, to past moms who wish to fade older stretch marks,  to pregnant moms trying to prevent new stretch marks.

Pros: Beautiful fragrance; very easy to apply; soaks into skin so it’s not greasy; lovely packaging; gets rid of itch due to stretching skin and dry skin; and fades older stretch marks.

Cons: Bottle was too small to really experiment with all over my body!

Ease of Use: Very simple, I just apply morning and night

Packaging: Extremely cute and mommy friendly :)

Would you recommend to friends? Absolutely, much better than the average stretch mark cream.
